LAURENS COUNTY, S.C. —

A 27-year-old Laurens County, South Carolina, man is accused of distributing and possessing files of child sexual abuse material.

Thomas Nicholas Rytter, of Waterloo, was arrested on four charges connected to the sexual exploitation of a minor.

Investigators said they received a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) which led them to Rytter.

Rytter was arrested on Sept. 19.

He is charged with one count of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and three counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

The case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General's Office.
