NEWPORT CITY, Vt. (WCAX) - Police say the body of a missing fisherman was found in Lake Memphremagog on Monday.
Newport Police Chief Travis Bingham confirmed that a state police dive team found the body of Charles Arnold, 70, on Monday afternoon.
His body was sent to the medical examiner for an autopsy.

Police say Arnold went fishing on the lake on Friday and never returned home.
Crews spent the weekend searching for him.
Arnold’s kayak with his life jacket inside was found near the South Yard area off Glen Road.
