RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Due to popular demand, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts has extended hours for the final five days of its “Frida: Beyond the Myth” exhibition.
The VMFA, located at 200 N. Arthur Ashe Blvd, will now allow the exhibit to be seen from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 24-Sunday, Sept. 28.
The exhibition showcases over 60 pieces of Frida Kahlo’s work throughout her life, immersing viewers in the mystic and iconography of the artist. Known for her trailblazing nature, Kahlo’s legacy continues to cause intrigue.
Tickets are:
$20 for adults
$16 for seniors 65+
$10 for students with ID
Tickets are free for museum members, children under 6, teachers/state employees, and military.
