BLUEFIELD, WV (WVNS) - St. Mary’s Orthodox Church brought folks together from far and wide for their annual World Food Festival in Bluefield.
Their eateries took folks on a tour across the globe. Some of the selections included Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Ukrainian, Slavic, Georgian, Italian, Romanian, and Greek foods – not to mention their sweets menu.
“We have so many people from a variety of international backgrounds, but as well as American, too. So it is a chance for us to share that,” said Father Michael Foster.
The way the festival works is – festivalgoers could park by the highway and get shuttled straight to their parking lot. From there, they could purchase their tickets for only one dollar a-piece. Then they could go pick out their meals.
