BLUEFIELD, WV (WVNS) - The second annual Bluefield Fall Festival took over the 400 Block and Raleigh Streets areas in the city.
This festival featured tons of vendors and a kid’s zone.
Alexis Marinus is one of the event organizers. She also co-owns the Sourdough Co. Café. Marinus explained events like this is great exposure for her and other local business owners.
“It helps us get the word out. We're downtown, we're open Monday through Friday, 11 to 4, and it just gives us the opportunity to be face-to-face with a lot of people that did not know we were here. We just opened in April,” said Marinus.
The Bluefield State University Men’s Basketball team got in on the fun. The players used this as a team bonding experience and to hang out with the public.
