KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — Rural Metro Fire rescued a person in South Knox County who was thrown from a car and seriously injured.
The person's car crashed into a guard rail on the 7900 block of Martin Mill Pike and went into a creek, Rural Metro said. Crews rescued them from the creek bed using a low-angle rope hauling system. They were then taken to a waiting ambulance.
"Please be careful and follow the law and wear your seatbelt," Rural Metro wrote.
