A Coalville man was arrested on Sunday for allegedly stalking people he had been watching at North Summit High School.

Multiple individuals in Coalville reported that they were being followed by a man driving a silver Kia, according to a shift report from the Summit County Sheriff’s Office. A deputy found and stopped the man in Hoytsville, who had been observed following someone.

Deputies concluded during the investigation that the man had surveilled the group at North Summit High School before following them in his car. Law enforcement also found drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana in the vehicle.

The man was arrested for stalking, drug-related offenses and multiple traffic violations.
