CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - Elms College is hosting a hands-on cleanup along the Connecticut River this Friday, encouraging students and community members to create positive change and improve the environment.
The event is organized by the Elms' Division of Natural Sciences, Math and Technology as part of the Connecticut River Conservancy's annual Source to Sea Cleanup. Those interested are invited to join Elms students, faculty, and staff in cleaning the riverbank of trash and debris from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
