ROCKFORD, Ill. — Hard Rock Rockford announced a unique sporting event coming this fall.

On Nov. 1, 2025, the casino will host a charity boxing match between the Police and Fire departments called the Rockford Hero Rumble. Sponsored by USA Boxing, the program will feature Rockford area first responders competing for community pride, boxing belts, and a trophy for the winning Department.

“The Rockford Hero Rumble is more than just an event—it’s a celebration of courage, service, and unity. The Rockford Police Department is honored to stand alongside our fellow first responders in this friendly competition that not only entertains, but also brings our community together,” said Carla Redd, Chief of Police at Rockford PD.
