SAN JUAN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The City of San Juan announced that its police department will temporarily be without power on Tuesday.

Scheduled construction on the San Juan Fire Department will cause the planned power outage, which is anticipated to affect the north side of the police station.

City officials say that starting at 8 a.m., the San Juan Police Department will be without power.

The outage is expected to last approximately two hours, which will also impact the backup generator.

During the outage, all calls will be routed to the dispatcher's cellphone to ensure continued service for residents.
