BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A lost duckling with no momma duck in sight was rescued by a Brownsville Police officer.

Brownsville PD announced Officer Culver-Kingsbury was conducting a crash investigation underneath the expressway turnaround when she came across the duck. The video captured by Brownsville PD shows how Officer Culver-Kingsbury picked up the duck and secured it in her unit afterwards.

The lost duckling has found a loving home where it is now growing strong.
