FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - A Fort Wayne man convicted of murder in the killing of an 18-year-old was sentenced Monday to life in prison.

A judge in Allen Superior Court handed 20-year-old Terrance Sanders Jr. 115 years behind bars.

In September 2023, police investigated a shooting at a south Fort Wayne apartment complex in which 18-year-old Ayvion Antoine Romel Parker died. His younger brother was also shot.

Investigators said they believe the shooting stemmed from a feud between gangs.

Sanders was found guilty of murder and sentenced to 60 years for that conviction; 35 more years for attempted murder; a 20-year enhancement for using a firearm as a convicted felon, and three more years for criminal gang activity, but court records show those few years run concurrently to the attempted m
