KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Police are searching for a 22-year-old man from Kansas City accused of sexually abusing a child for years.

Jackson County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Thursday, Sept. 18, indicate that Gary E. Hough Jr., 22, of Kansas City, has been charged with multiple child sex crimes.

A probable cause statement filed by the Kansas City Police Department revealed that on July 24, law enforcement officials received reports that a 13-year-old may have been sexually abused.

Investigators indicated that a social worker provided screenshots of texts that Hough sent to the victim, which were sexual in nature.
