A proposed three-building apartment complex in Minnow Lake that has drawn the ire of more than a dozen neighbourhood residents, and was to have been discussed in a public hearing at the city’s planning meeting on Monday, has been deferred. The proposal, which was seeking the planning committee’s approval to rezone the property at 1799 Bancroft Dr. between Avalon Road and Seguin Street, will now be dealt with at the committee’s Oct. 7 meeting. The city has so far received 15 letters and three telephone calls about the proposed 84-unit development (28 units per building), with several residents expected to address the planning committee at the public hearing..
