People of all ages, from kids to the young at heart, came together to celebrate a culture like no other.

Over the weekend of Sept. 20 and 21, the Ultimate Toy Fair drew thousands from across the region and beyond to Saanich’s G.R. Pearkes Recreation Centre.

The biannual toy extravaganza, launched in 2007, marked its 32nd edition, giving toy and hobby lovers a place to hunt for new treasures and connect with like-minded communities.

“We just wanted to bring everybody in the community together for a wonderful event and really celebrate nostalgia, toys and collectibles,” said event organizer Candace Woodward.
