Toronto Police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of a second suspect in the murder of Shakur Clarke-Sargeant, a rapper known as Ytn Paco.
Homicide detectives say they’re looking for Douvon Ellis, 18, of no fixed address — who goes by the alias, “Douvou” — to answer to a charge of first-degree murder in the fatal Sept. 15 shooting of the 23-year-old rapper.
“I should also say if you’re harbouring or aiding this individual, in any way, that you can face charges as well,” cautioned Det.-Sgt. Phillip Campbell, who added “anything’s possible” in terms of Ellis’ whereabouts.
Campbell said while the shooting was “planned and deliberate,” he “didn’t want to go into too much that happened that night,” and whether or not Ellis knew his alleged killers.
