AUSTIN, Texas — Three apartment complexes reportedly lost power on Sunday night following a crash in northwest Austin.

The Austin Fire Department said crews responded to the AMLI Lakeline apartments after a vehicle hit a utility pole and sparked a fire.

Viewer photos show what appears to be an SUV that struck a transformer box.

Fire officials do not believe the flames spread beyond the vehicle itself.

Several social media posts from people in that area said their complexes lost power for a while following the incident.
