NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Peoples Pharmacy on historic Church Street in Norfolk has a new deal many won't want to miss. If your desire is high, but your funds are low, and now is not the right time to start or expand your family, see Dr. Anna Peoples.

"Effective immediately, Peoples Pharmacy has partnered with the Virginia Department of Health to implement a new program called the Contraceptive Access Initiative," Peoples said. "And what this does is that it allows residents in the Hampton Roads area to come to Peoples Pharmacy to receive a full year's supply of the contraceptives of their choice."

Abortions are not part of the program. If you are uninsured or underinsured and in need of birth control, Peoples wants to hear from you.
