Matt Rhule glanced down at a printout, searching for the statistical confirmation of what he’d seen on the field.

The Husker head coach, who on Monday first dove into the myriad areas in which the Nebraska football team needed to improve from its loss to Michigan, was ready to identify the positives from NU’s 3-1 start to the season.

Those takeaways included that Nebraska has one of the nation’s best passing offenses led by quarterback Dylan Raiola, the country’s No. 1 passing defense and a positive turnover margin.

“You can be really angry that we lost the last game — that’s how I feel, I’m really angry that we lost the game — but I also have to recognize, ‘Hey, there’s things we’re doing well, and there’s other things we’re not fixing,’” Rhule said.
