CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - The House Judiciary Subcommittee on Oversight will be in Charlotte next week, according to officials.
The House Judiciary Subcommittee is scheduled to hold a hearing in Charlotte at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 29.
Officials said that the hearing, “Victims of Violent Crime,” would focus on the “violent crime happening in Charlotte and the surrounding areas.” It was not immediately clear who would be speaking at the hearing on Monday.
The visit from the House Judiciary comes a little over a month after a deadly stabbing on a Charlotte light rail on Aug. 22.
