After four weeks of some of Delaware's top contenders choosing to play quality out-of-state competition, it's time for a neat scheduling quirk in Delaware's top class.
Class 3A teams will play "crossover" games the next two weeks, with the top 2 teams in last year's district standings playing each other, 3&4, and then 5&6.
That means Salesianum and Middletown will face Smyrna and Sussex Central, Appoquinimink and Hodgson battle Cape Henlopen and St. Georges, while William Penn and Caravel (replacing Saint Mark's) take on Caesar Rodney and Dover.
These games can certainly matter if the standings get close later in the year, as you would assume the top teams will have a better chance at bonus points if they lose, while CR and Dover get a tough draw with a Caravel team that's clearly bette
