SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Angelo State football entered the season ranked 13th, rostered the former conference MVP at Quarterback, and was projected to win a second consecutive conference title.
In the first four weeks of the season, the Rams have matched and exceeded those expectations, despite facing the adversity they have. They have been without their starting QB (injury) since two minutes into their week two contest against Emporia State. Flash forward through the next two weeks, and the Rams enter their bye week still undefeated at 4-0.
Even more impressive, the Rams still have backup QB Kaeden Smith leading the charge for this team as Fuller still recovers from injury. And Smith has stepped into an all-too-familiar scheme, and the Rams haven't missed a beat sinc
