COPPERAS COVE, Texas — The Copperas Cove ISD Board of Trustees has approved the purchase of more than 1,400 new computers to serve both students and staff, as well as various other purchases throughout the district.

Copperas Cove ISD said 113 of the computers will be for staff and 1,300 are for new student devices to replace outdated computers.

The purchase of the computers was approved alongside the purchase of Lightspeed Software, which allows teachers to control technology use in their classrooms, the district said. The Board also reportedly approved two Dell servers and the necessary accessories to go with them.
