FAIRFAX, Va. — Detectives are asking for help in an unsolved murder five years later.

According to the Fairfax County Police Department, 37-year-old Leonard Brown was shot to death along Hagel Circle in Lorton on Sept. 21, 2020. Officers also found a second man who had been shot. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was treated and later released.

An autopsy on Brown showed he was shot in the upper body before he died. In the years since he died, detectives have continued searching for his killer.

On Monday, FCPD released images captured by surveillance cameras in the area that show two people near the area Brown was killed just before the shooting.
