President Donald Trump urged pregnant women to avoid Tylenol, linking acetaminophen and vaccines to autism, while a major children's health organization criticized his claims as misleading.

"So taking Tylenol is not good. I'll say it, it's not good," President Donald Trump said.

He, along with the medical community, stated that taking Tylenol during pregnancy can be associated with an increased risk of autism.

Trump noted that since 2000, autism has surged more than 400%.

"Can you imagine that's down from one in 20,000 and one in 10,000, and now we're at the level of one in 12 for some cases in boys," Trump said.
