FARGO — A ribbon cutting was held Monday, Sept. 22, at the Garden of Healing near Scheels Arena for a new feature meant to give people a space for reflection and connection.
The Garden of Healing officially opened the “healing hotline,” a symbolic phone designed to give people a private place to talk with loved ones. While the phone is not connected, organizers say it allows people to let out emotions and speak from the heart.
The phone is not just a space to talk with those who have passed away, but also a way to reconnect with people someone may not have spoken to in years.
