A man was rushed to hospital following a 'disturbance' at a Dennistoun shop.

Emergency services were called to the Duke Street business at around 10pm on Sunday, September 21, following reports of an incident.

Officers say that a man was taken from the scene to hospital. His condition is not currently known.

Images from the scene show cops standing guard at the corner shop. It is understood that enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.05pm on Sunday, 21 September, 2025, we were called to a report of a disturbance on Duke Street in Glasgow.

“Emergency services attended and one man was taken to hospital for treatment.

“Enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
