A Saturday morning shooting has left a 31-year-old man in critical condition.

The Danville Police Department is investigating the shooting that happened at just before 2 a.m. Saturday, according to a news release from the department.

Officers responded to Seminole Trail and Thunderbird Circle for a person who had been shot. The victim was transported to Sovah Health-Danville before being airlifted to another medical facility, according to the news release.

The police department requests that anyone with video or photos from doorbell or surveillance cameras in the area contact them.
