Three people were rushed to the hospital Monday night after a reported shooting in the Mattapan section of Boston, according to first responders.

Boston EMS said that it responded to Temple Street at around 11 p.m. for a reported shooting and transported three people.

There was a heavy police presence in the area, with an area taped off and investigators processing the scene.

Boston police are still investigating the incident.
