Security Footage Helped Deputies Track Down the Man

Authorities arrested a man Sunday in connection with a disturbing case in West Hollywood, where a dog was killed during a home burglary earlier this month, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The suspect, identified as Anmol Bhatia, was taken into custody around 7 p.m. near Wilshire Boulevard and Elm Drive. Investigators have not disclosed how deputies located him or what specific evidence led to the arrest.

The investigation began on Sept. 4, when deputies were called to the 1200 block of North Harper Avenue after a resident returned home to find his apartment had been broken into and his dog dead.
