Dense fog advisory issued ahead of morning commutes in Central Indiana

A dense fog advisory has been issued for Central Indiana through 9 a.m. Sept. 23.

Visibility could be severely reduced in some areas and create dangerous traffic situations during morning commutes. If driving this morning, slow down, be sure headlights are on and give plenty of distance to vehicles.

"Take the necessary precautions to stay safe and allow for extra time to reach your destination this morning," the National Weather Service Indianapolis posted.
