VERSAILLES, Mo. (KY3) -Police in Versailles are asking for help finding the suspect in a shooting Monday morning.

According to Versailles police, officers responded to a shooting at the 100 block of S. Burke at around 7:30 a.m.

Once on scene, officers found an unconscious female with a head injury. The patient was brought to the hospital in critical condition, police said.

At this time, police say the incident was “of personal nature” and there is no threat to the public.

The suspect was wearing a pink hoodie, gloves, a mask, and sunglasses.
