JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - GOP leadership is noticing an increase in conservative engagement from young people in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

According to Turning Point USA, the organization has received more than 62 thousand requests from high school and college students who wish to start a chapter or become involved in an existing one.

Executive Director of the Mississippi Republican Party, Rance Bilbo, says there has been an uptick in engagement for conservative groups in general.
