DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — It's day two of the fall season, and summer is still holding on.
Temperatures are starting off in the 70s this Tuesday morning, and another warm afternoon is in store. Highs will top out in the mid-90s under mostly sunny skies, with only a 10% rain chance.
Much of the same is expected for Wednesday, but conditions will be a bit more humid.
Rain chances increase Thursday ahead of a cold front. Showers and thunderstorms are likely, one or two of which can be severe, producing damaging winds up to 60 mph.
Although rain will linger into Friday, drier (and slightly cooler) conditions will settle in by the weekend. Lows will cool to the 60s, as highs top out only in the upper 80s.
