Historic spot in CNY: Governor Kathy Hochul announced last week that the New York State Board for Historic Preservation recommended adding 20 properties and districts to the State and National Registers of Historic Places. One of the 20 nominations was the Pozzi Building in Solvay. It was constructed in 1917 by Angelo Pozzi in 1917, shown behind the bar in the above photo (the identity of the other man is unknown).
