Bucks activists rally to support suit against sheriff’s agreement with ICE

Community activists last week held a rally and press conference outside the Bucks County courthouse. The Sept. 16 rally was in support of a lawsuit that the ACLU-PA filed against Bucks Sheriff Fred Harran in advance of a preliminary injunction hearing held in the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas.

In June, the ACLU-PA and the Community Justice Project filed a lawsuit in the Court of Common Pleas of Bucks County on behalf of Make the Road Pennsylvania, NAACP Bucks County, the BuxMont Unitarian Universalists, and an impacted Bucks County resident, against Harran.
