A 20-year-old man has been arrested after Ontario Provincial Police say he was caught driving more than 200 km/h westbound on the Queen Elizabeth Way in Oakville.

Police say the driver was stopped around 1 a.m. on Sept. 17 near Fourth Line.

The man was reportedly travelling at 201 km/h. OPP Highway Safety division released a photo on X showcasing the high speed via radar gun.

OPP announced the driver was issued a 30-day licence suspension, a 14-day impounding of the vehicle and a summons for stunt driving.
