A player who paced the Niagara IceDogs in points last season could be among the top picks in the 2026 National Hockey League draft next summer.
Ryan Roobroeck, a left-shooting forward from London, Ont., who is turning 18 on Thursday, is among four draft-eligible players in the pre-season rankings released by TSN on Monday.
Roobroeck, who had 41 goals and 46 assists in 64 games in his second season in the Niagara lineup, is fourth on the list compiled by NHL draft and prospect analyst Chris Peters.
Right behind and also high on the draft radar are Windsor forward Ethan Belchetz (No. 5), Soo Greyhounds defenceman Chase Reid (No. 10) and Peterborough Petes import Adam Novotny (No. 12).
