Engineers presented a design for the new Marble Falls High School baseball field to the Marble Falls Independent School District Board of Trustees on Sept. 15. The field, along with fresh turf on the existing softball field, should be playable by the end of January 2026, if everything goes according to plan.

The new baseball field also will be turfed and accompanied by bleachers for up to 350 spectators, concession facilities, restrooms, locker rooms, batting cages, dugouts, bullpens, and offices for the varsity and junior varsity baseball teams.

While all of the work might not be finished by the time baseball and softball practices start in mid-January, the fields should be ready before the end of that month, just in time for the first interschool games in mid-February.
