SPARTANBURG, S.C. —

The sign on a Spartanburg County McDonalds says "unsafe" after a fire at the restaurant Monday night.

The fire happened at the McDonalds on Cedar Springs Road.

A firefighter was injured and taken to the hospital, but has been released.

Fire officials are looking at the roof as the possible area where the fire started.

We are not sure when the restaurant will open or the extent of the damage.
