MANITOWOC, Wis. (WBAY) - Manitowoc police are asking people to avoid the 2400 block of Dewey St. and the 1200 block of S. 17th St.

The police department is investigating what it only describes as a “critical incident” that involves both locations.

Police say there is no ongoing danger to the public.

They aren’t releasing any more information at this time, but they’re asking any potential witnesses, or people who have information about this incident, to call them at (920) 686-6500.

The locations are about 1½ miles apart, according to Google Maps.
