PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- The Peoria Public Schools Board of Education is searching for a new superintendent, and they want your feedback.
On Wednesday, the PPS Board of Education will host a town hall to create a "transparent, community-centered process" for selecting its new superintendent. Board President Dr. Gregory Wilson and Vice President Paris McConnell stopped by WMBD This Morning to tell us more
"It's a great opportunity for members of the community to come in, share their input and tell us who you want and what kind of person you would like to serve as our superintendent," says McConnell.
The town hall will be open to the public on Wednesday, September 24, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, at Peoria High School.
