PERRYSBURG, Ohio (WJW) — A 24-year-old non-citizen accused of posing as a teenager and attending an Ohio high school for more than a year has pleaded guilty to multiple federal charges.
Last May, Anthony E. Labrador-Sierra was accused of using fake documents to enroll and attend Perrysburg High School. He even played on the school’s JV soccer and swim teams, according to the school district.
On Monday, Sept. 22, court records show Labrador-Sierra pleaded guilty to two counts of making or using false documents, in addition to firearms charges.
Labrador-Sierra allegedly enrolled in the district as a 16-year-old unaccompanied minor, under federal and state rules for students experiencing homelessness or who do not have a legal guardian, according to the school district.
