ASHEBORO, N.C. — Funeral arrangements have been announced for a young boy who died on Sept. 9.
Liam King was 7 years old when he wandered off from a home in Asheboro. He was found three days later in a nearby pond.
King was a student at Teachey Elementary School and is remembered for his infectious smile, his love for music and spending time with his dogs, according to the obituary.
The family of Liam King will receive friends from 6- 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 23, at First United Methodist Church of Asheboro.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept 24, at First United Methodist Church of Asheboro. He will be buried at the GilRand Memorial Park Cemetery after the service.
