CARRIZO SPRINGS, Texas — Three men are facing charges of murder after a man died from multiple gunshot wounds in Carrizo Springs on Friday, officials in Dimmit County say.

The Dimmit County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting multiple gunshots heard in the area of North 17th Street and Thompson Street in Carrizo Springs on September 19, at 1:04 a.m.

When deputies arrived at the scene they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. Deputies performed life-saving measures until EMS arrived and took the victim to Dimmit Regional Hospital.

The DCSO Criminal Investigation Division investigated the incident with the help from the Texas Rangers.
