A North Warwickshire pub has had its licence suspended following a stabbing. The Bell Inn in Coleshill is currently closed following the suspension of its premises licence by North Warwickshire Borough Council.

It came after Warwickshire Police called for a full licence review hearing to be held. This followed a serious incident where a man, who has not been identified but was aged in his 20s, suffered serious injuries after being stabbed outside the pub.

Police investigations into the incident outside the Birmingham Road pub on the evening of Friday, September 12 are ongoing. But police called on the council to carry out an urgent licensing review into the premises.
