Just one more day of the summer-like heat, before temperatures cool down a bit. Today, highs will reach the low to mid 90s, with an isolated shower or thunderstorm possible. Rain and storms are more likely on Wednesday as a cold front slides across the region. A few storms may produce strong to severe wind gusts. Locally heavy rainfall is also possible. The rain and clouds will cool us down, with temperatures maxing out in the upper 80s. Behind the front, drier weather returns for the rest of the week and the weekend. The best part is that highs are hovering in the 80s, although we cannot completely rule out a 90-degree reading.
