First responders will once again be stepping into the ring to help raise awareness and funds for a boxing-focused Parkinson's program, at a gala event taking place in Surrey in November.

Guns and Hoses organizer Frankie LaSasso said the soirée is a formal affair with a sporty twist.

"Picture a wedding with a boxing ring in the middle," LaSasso said on Sept. 18.

"It's an amazing night."
