BENZIE COUNTY — The Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation’s Anchor and Heart Endowment has awarded a $109,000 grant to Munson Healthcare Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital to support facility and patient care upgrades.

According to a Sept. 22 news release, the grant will fund modernization of the hospital’s long-term care multipurpose room; Pyxis software upgrades to enhance patient safety and efficiency; advanced BiPAP solutions to improve patient stability during transport; lobby updates to improve comfort and accessibility; and new furniture in the emergency department and acute chair units to better support patients and visitors.
