The regime has canceled a $20-million grant that was going to pay for improvements to Melnea Cass Boulevard, Malcolm X Boulevard, and Warren Street that would have included new bus lanes, bus stops, sidewalks and drainage systems, City Councilor Sharon Durkan reports.

In a message to her fellow councilors, Durkan, who chairs the council's Committee on Planning, Development and Transportation, writes:

This appears to be part of the Trump Administration's strategy to run out the clock on Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act grants before they expire at the end of the federal fiscal year on September 30th.
